    Kahlua is our beloved family dog, who I have to re-home due to the fact that I will be working farther away, and she would be home for 12-13 hours per day by herself. I am not able to afford a dog walker. I just want to find a really good home with folks who are working-from-home or retired.

    I have taken a new job that does not allow me to get home in time to walk my dog. She would be alone for 12-13 hours a day, and though she is house-broken, and will not go to the bathroom in the house, I know this is not good for her. I do not want to worry about her getting UTI's, and would love to find a retired home/family home where she will be loved and well taken care of. She is my baby, and I have had her since she was about 9 months, I rescued her. Kahlua is part doberman, and loves to run, so a backyard would be great for her. She gets a little weird about babies sitting on her or her tail, but she has never bitten. She will growl and jump away.     Meet Bomber! We saved Bomber from a rural Virginia shelter and what a find he was! Bomber is an 83 pound bundle of fun! He loves to chase balls and play with toys and would really love a fenced yard to run laps in! He is really good with most dogs but may not be ideal in a home with large, dominant male dogs, so a meet and greet before adoption is recommended. He is approximately 3 years old, and is very affectionate and happy. He will make a wonderful life long companion! $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue.
