THIS IS NOT A DOGS DESERVE BETTER DOG. FOR MORE INFO OR TO ADOPT: Contact the Humane Society of York County at 803-802-0902 or email Karen at Helix@comporium.net. Bailey is a beautiful girl who is totally awesome. She is about 1-1/2 years old and was a stray dog who was surrendered to a rural shelter. Bailey is very distressed with the noise and activity of shelter life. She reacts by jumping and turning in her kennel. As a result, Bailey has lost weight, Bailey would thrive in a foster or forever home where she can feel safe and secure. She is one of the most affectionate dogs you will find. Bailey will often just want to sit with you in the grass during her morning walks. She wants to get all of the attention that she can. This sweet girl loves to curl up and sleep on your lap. While Bailey might be a bit shy, it only takes her a few minutes to warm up to a new person. Since Bailey is wonderful with children, volunteer walkers like to bring their children to take Bailey out for walks. Bailey loves to play with toys. When she is properly introduced, she responds positively to and will play with most other dogs. Bailey is a very intelligent girl. Her leash manners are impeccable for a dog with little training. She will sit for a treat and responds well to positive reinforcement. Bailey needs to find someone who will give her attention and more training. She will make someone a great companion. Would you like to take her on your next adventure? Bailey will repay you with her trust, devotion, and love for a lifetime. Please apply to foster or adopt Bailey today. (Less)

Apollo was a stray and is a sweet lazy puppy. He is trying to assert dominance so may do better with very dominant dog or submissive dog. or he would love to be an only dog to hog all the love.

Doberman Pinscher Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Doberman Pinscher is a powerful guard dog. Dobermans are protective, but are not vicious dogs; their reputation for aggression is undeserved. Doberman Pinschers that are properly trained and socialized are very gentle family companions.
