Doberman Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello everyone!! My name is Dominic! I am a Doberman mix and my new foster mom Veronica, is taking good care of me, and I didn't even have to leave the state! I was born 5/6/2013, so my second birthday is coming up and I'd really like to celebrate with a new 'Fureverhomes' family!! I like dogs and cats, I am young and an active player, I love lots of exercise and I would like to be your lap dog if you'll let me! I'm all natural, yup...I have floppy ears and a tail, I'm neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on my vaccinations. I'll head to the doctor soon for a blood and fecal panel so I can start those yummy monthly chews to keep my heart ... (Read More)healthy. I love the outdoors and I'm a good boy and potty outside, and I've been crate trained, although I'm not big fan of it, but I'm learning to like it, and I'm very treat motivated so I'm brushing up on my basic commands, so I will be a polite young man when I meet my future family. Oh...I love car rides too! Please send your request for an adoption application to take me home to FureverhomesDobermanRescue@outlook.com.     Maci is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old, purebred fawn Doberman who is docked with natural ears. We have completed her vetting, she has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, she has also had her blood panel and fecal. Maci is an active young lady who's had very little training, she spent the first year of her life in a crate and is a bundle of happiness. She will need a positive training home, and we feel she should not have small children at this time, until she graduates obedience, and learns not to jump. Maci will make a very lucky family a wonderful addition if they are willing to give her love and patience. If you are ready to ...     Boka, is approximately 5 years of age, black/tan, docked and cropped, intact, purebred female Doberman from Serbian stock. Animal ID: 2015-007Crosby (male)

Doberman Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

This handsome young gent is in need of a new 'Fureverhome' and we are happy to help. Crosby is a 21 month old mostly Doberman mix (said to be Greyhound but could be Shepherd), he is fully vetted (recently neutered) and we are told has been living in a home with children 11 years and older. Crosby is a happy dog, sweet natured through and through, he will amuse himself with bones and soft chew toys. Crosby dearly loves playing nicely with the female Dobe in the home. Housebroken, and crate trained; he will bark to protest at some point, and immediately quiets to the 'no' command, he then remains quiet. Crosby is a quiet dog, he play barks ... (Read More)occasionally, otherwise, he growls in warning if someone approaches the house. Crosby loves being cuddled. Things we are working on, Crosby jumps up on people and counters, window ledges, furniture, etc. He will immediately get 'off' with the 'no' command, but clearly has not been trained to diminish this behavior. Animal ID: 2015-012Kaydence (female)

Doberman Pinscher    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Kaydence Update - 3/16/15 Kaydence was brought to our Pet Value, Flourtown, PA event Saturday 3/14/15 and surrendered to FDR, and she is being fostered by the same family who is also fostering Garrett and we have received the following evaluation: Kaydence is not shy meeting new dogs, we find her slow to play with them, probably due to inexperience. We believe she was fed from the table and she has now learned not to bark at her humans when they are at the table eating. Kaydence now also knows her sit and down, also completely understands that sitting gets her what she wants. She is pawing the door or giving a bark to come in from outside, ... (Read More)and pawing or ringing the bell to go out, she is housebroken. She is learning not to grab things out of your hand, she is a fast learner who is used to mouthing and barking to get what she wants, which are ingrained and will take a while to remedy but doable, Kaydence is very food and toy motivated. She is crate trained, and will howl or bark in the morning asking to join the activity in the house, but sleeps quietly through the night. Kaydence appears tolerant of Garrett near her food, but of course we don't let him get to close, but she doesn't appear to care and also doesn't mind me right there either. Her mouthing appears to come more from excitement, the more she gets to know us, it appears it his her way of greeting us. She will take advantage if she can, but is more than happy to let you take charge if you are willing to do so. Positive training and a firm but loving environment will be the home where Kaydence would thrive. From Rescue: We have vetted Kaydence, she received her wellness exam, updated vaccinations including Lyme and Lepto, a nail trim and a microchip. She also tested negative for heartworm and negative in her fecal, has received her Heartguard Plus chew and Frontline Plus application. She appears to be approximately 8 lbs overweight which we will work on with exercise and a change in diet. Kaydence is a young, happy, healthy and energetic young female that will need guidance and positive training reinforcement, but she is a 'gem in the ruff' and will make a wonderful dog for an active family with no young children at this time, and she has not been cat tested. If you are interested in adopting Kaydence or any of the Dobermans in our program here at FDR, please send your email request for an application to FureverhomesDobermanRescue@outlook.com, and please share, sharing saves lives! Doberman Pinscher Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

Bailey is our 1 yr old dobie-lab mix. She is beautiful, affectionate and loves to snuggle. She is very smart, crate trained and responds well to commands including sit, stay, lie down, come and crate. Bailey has lots of energy and loves to play outside. She would do well in a house with older children and anyone who loves to go for a walk. Still a puppy, Bailey likes to play hard and would probably do best as the only dog at home. She is a great protector and very aware of who is home and around the home. Please consider adopting Bailey!

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-12-00084Otto (male)

Doberman Pinscher    Age: Puppy

Hey, have you taken a look at my pictures? Cute, right! How can you not want to come meet me. My name is Otto and I'm still trying to figure out what life is all about. I was living with 2 other playmates but they just didn't have my energy. All they wanted to do was lay around and sleep. I can't do that. I need to get out and run around and play. My people thought it better if I found a home that could meet what I needed. 'Someone who likes to go for walks, run around out in the yard and play, maybe even go on play dates. But I do need to go to obedience training and maybe find a hobby. Not sure what but we ... (Read More)can figure it out. One thing though, I'm not to keen on young children. Not sure why they bother me, but it would be best if I went to a home with older children. If you're interested in wanting to meet me, don't forget to fill out the application. I know, paperwork. Go to www.dvdpa.org and click on adopt then application. It's all done on-line, so that's not to bad. I hope I get to meet you soon (Less)

See how nice I sat for my picture. Pretty good for only 7 mos old. I don't know everything they want me to do but I'll get there. They said I need to go to school. Not sure what that is about but it sounds like fun. I like to play with the other dogs here in my foster home. So maybe when I go to school, I'll make some new friends. I was told that I'm different but I don't feel like I am. My head tilts a little and if I don't pay attention to what I'm doing, I knock myself off balance. Doesn't bother me, I get right up and keep going. So, if it doesn't bother me, hopefully it won't bother you. If you want to ... Animal ID: 2014-045GiGi (female)

Doberman Pinscher    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

GiGi, came to us here at FDR on Sunday 12/14/14, she has just turned one year old, is black and tan with natural ears and a docked tail; she is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. We have had a few days to get to know this wonderful young girl and we are happy to share that she is now available for adoption! What we have learned is that she is lover, a very sweet, young and sensitive girl. We have been working on commands, she knows sit, down, off, a great stay and look. She has good focus, she will sit and wait for her food bowl to be put down and focus on your eyes, waiting for the release command 'okay' and she's a nice slow eater. ... (Read More)She's energetic but not hyper for her age, she does like to jump, but she's a light jumper and quickly responds to being told 'off.' GiGi is crate trained, and she will go in her crate and lay down with the crate door open and she likes to communicate, so if she wants to be with you instead of taking a nap, she will let you know, she's most happy laying next to you on the sofa. GiGi is a typical puppy, so if you let papers around you can expect her to help you shred them, and she will counter surf, all things every puppy will need to be taught and she learns so quickly. We've car tested her and she's well on her way to being a great passenger, and we are working on her leash skills, she does pull a little, but not terribly and we feel a 'no pull harness' will resolve this issue quickly. GiGi is a slow greeter, she will growl and bark, and we have been socializing her, it takes her about fifteen minutes to warm up to someone new, but once you're in GiGi's circle, you are a friend for life and we can't stress further socialization and a good positive trainer is going to be required for her successful future. She does appear to choose her doggie friends carefully, and prefers non-challenging, more mellow canine friends, she likes to be the queen, however here she has quickly learned here she had no status and was an equal in the pack, and she has asked for no young children or cats in her new home please. GiGi is a diamond in the rough, patience, training and love and you will have a 'once in a lifetime love'. (Less)

Doberman Pinscher    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi I'm Rocco, a three-year-old cropped and docked albino male. I came to rescue when my owner moved from Colorado and could no longer keep me because the other dogs I lived with weren't getting along with me. I was very skinny when I was turned over to rescue and also unsure of myself. I gained twenty pounds and feel so much better. I recently saw the vet and he said I am in such good shape that I am ready to find my new home. I go on long walks and play in the yard with my foster mommy. I ride well in a crate in the car, too. My foster mom knows a lot about having an albino Doberman because she had an albino female that lived to be 12. I am ... (Read More)a typical Doberman except for my color! I would do best in a home without any other pets or young children. I love to be with people although it takes me a minute to warm up. I look to my foster mom for reassurance when someone new approaches me. We feel Rocco would make a great companion but he must go with an experienced Doberman owner. No small children and definitely no cats. If you are interested in Rocco you MUST fill out an Adoption Application. (Less)
