Rescue Me ID: 17-01-16-00249Julie aka Miss July (female)
Julie is such a sweet petite little girl for a rottie. She is about 60-65 pounds and so very loving. She is great with kids, cats, and dogs and is looking for a home where she will be included in daily activities. She has a very sweet temperament and just wants to be around people. She would be a wonderful companion for someone who stays at home. She is currently in a foster home in Cleveland Heights. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and will be micro-chipped before she goes to her forever home. Please contact us for an application. She is our featured pup of 2017.

Animal ID: HopeHope (female)
Hi my name is Hope. I am a very special girls you see, I came into Adopt a Pit when I ended up at the shelter and would not walk. It wasn't because I couldn't, I was so scared that I was frozen in fear and did not want move. But here is the catch, now that I'm in my foster home I'm blossoming into a wonderful girl they say. I am house trained, and I'm now brave enough to go potty outside all by myself! That was a big accomplishment for me. I love to go for walks with my foster family, and I love other dogs and even cats! My favorite hobby is snuggling, you might need to come to me, but it is my favorite. Will you give my the love and patience that I deserve, so that I have a family to call my own, that will love me for me? Hope is still over coming her fear of strangers, but everyday is better. Hope is current on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. To apply to adopt Hope, visit www.adoptapitrescue.org/applications.html (Less)

Animal ID: C16-418Bruno (male)
This big handsome man is Bruno, an 8 year old Boxer/Doberman mix. He has been here at the shelter since the end of September. Bruno is such a sweetheart. He gets along well with other dogs, but has never really been around cats. He also enjoys children and pretty much anyone willing to give him attention. He has been neutered, heartworm tested, dewormed, given flea preventative, and is current on vaccinations. This big boy would make a great addition to a loving family.

Bear - Cane Corso Doberman Pinscher Mix Puppy For Adoption in Ohio REQUEST TO MEET BEAR HERE! http://findmypetahome.com/bear There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included. Bear is all that, and more! This 93 pound lap puppy is so sweet. He gets along so well with everyone - from tiny babies to strangers, other dogs, and cats, too. Bear has had all of his veterinary care done. He is neutered, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. He is perfectly house broken, and very well behaved, although his 'puppy exuberance' gets the better of him at times! Bear is looking for a very loving family to adore him, and whom he can love right back. Because of his size, Bear can be something like a Bull In A China Shop, and will need owners who can be patient and consistent with him as he settles into being a more sensible boy. Bear is as strong as, well, a bear! He really needs a lot of work on his leash training, as he will pull and it can be very difficult to stop him. You could probably hitch a cart and wagon to him - he's that strong. Bears' ideal family will be people with rough and tumble kids aged 8 and up. He needs to be placed with people who owner their own home with a large, securely fenced yard. A quiet, country or very suburban setting will be great, as all the noise and goings on of the city tend to make Bear overstimulated. This is one heck of a special dog that will provide his new family with so many wonderful things! Love, devotion, laughter companionship, and a sense of safety and protection. Please offer Bear the loving home that he needs and deserves today! Doberman Pinscher Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. The Doberman Pinscher is a powerful guard dog. Dobermans are protective, but are not vicious dogs; their reputation for aggression is undeserved. Doberman Pinschers that are properly trained and socialized are very gentle family companions.
